Sacred Heart Home is an intermediate long-term care residence. The facility is operated by the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate. Located on beautifully wooded grounds, outside of Washington DC, it embodies the Roman Catholic call to particiate in Christ's Healing Ministry, providing quality and comprehensive long-term health care to the elderly.
Opened in 1926, our non-profit home cares for 100 residents in a warm, loving atmosphere.

Philosophy

Our service is our response to Christ's call to mercy, in the form of caring for the aged and infirmed. We care for those who can no longer care for themselves with love, understanding, and compassion regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, or financial status.
