Healthcare
Our nurses are available to deliver compassionate, loving care around the clock, under the supervision of each resident's own doctor. A doctor makes regular visits and is on call 24 hours a day, and a number of specialists visit the home when needed.
Interdisciplinary Care Planning
The care of our residents is our primary concern. To help make sure every resident receives the best possible care, the nursing staff, social services, activity professionals and registered dietitian create a personal plan of care for each resident, and family members are encouraged to actively participate.
Activities
Our daily activity program is based on the Therapeutic Recreation Standards of Practice, and our full-time activity staff offers a wide range of group and individual activities designed specifically for our residents.
Social Services
Our licensed staff members provide psychosocial and emotional support services to our residents and their families.
Spiritual Services
Roman Catholic Mass is celebrated daily in our chapel. Our chaplain, who lives on the grounds, is available for spiritual counseling and brings holy communion daily to residents who cannot attend Mass. Sacred Heart Home welcomes all faiths and clergy are welcome to visit residents. We offer services and activities of other denominations during the week.
Family Council
Our Family Council is an integral and vital part of our community, providing valuable insights into care issues, and is a welcome source of support for our Caring Hearts philosophy.
Beauty Salon
Our full-service beauty salon is open every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for our residents.
